What same day pallet delivery actually means
A dedicated pallet courier collects the goods and takes them directly to the receiving address. There are no parcel sorting hubs or pallet-network depot transfers on a dedicated booking. That makes the service useful for a replacement component, a production order, exhibition stock or a customer delivery with a same-day deadline.

It is different from choosing a standard network service simply because the consignment happens to be on a pallet. If the deadline matters, ask how the goods will travel and when the recipient can realistically expect them. Our same day delivery service is planned around the individual movement.
The pallet footprint is only part of the vehicle choice
Send the length, width and overall height of the loaded pallet, including anything that extends beyond its edges. Give the total weight, including the pallet and packaging, and the number of pallets. A load can fit through the doors while still exceeding the available payload, so both measurements matter.
The fleet guide helps you compare van types. An enclosed Luton with a tail lift may suit a load that cannot be handled through a panel van's rear doors. Larger or heavier consignments need a different vehicle assessment; adding more pallets does not automatically mean a van remains suitable.
For example, a wrapped pallet of machine parts may fit comfortably in a vehicle but still require a forklift at the receiving workshop. Confirm the loaded weight with the sender and discuss the unloading method before choosing a van. That prevents a vehicle-fit decision from becoming a handling problem at the destination.
Forklift or tail lift: agree both ends of the journey
A forklift at the collection warehouse does not solve unloading at the customer's address. Confirm what equipment is available at each location. If a tail lift is needed, say so before dispatch and describe the access, ground surface and space for unloading.

Confirm the deadline and the full quote
Give the time the pallet will be ready and the latest time the recipient can accept it. Include warehouse closing times, booking references and the receiving contact. We aim to arrange collection within 60 minutes where possible, with the actual collection plan confirmed against location and vehicle availability.

Prepare the pallet for a clean handover
Use a sound pallet, protect the goods and secure the contents so the unit can be handled as one stable load. Make labels readable, provide the delivery reference and keep the consignment ready at the agreed collection point. Send a photo if the shape or packing is difficult to describe.

What happens if the unloading plan changes?
Confirm the equipment at the destination before collection, including whether the person operating it will still be present at arrival. A forklift-only plan cannot simply become a tail-lift delivery after a different vehicle has been dispatched. Tell the team immediately if the receiving arrangements change; it may affect the vehicle, timing and quote.
Give the pallet condition, any overhang and the surface between the vehicle and receiving point. An illustrative example is a pallet of parts going from a staffed warehouse to a small workshop: the sender may load easily while the workshop needs an agreed alternative. Ask the recipient to confirm its actual unloading capability before accepting the transport plan.

Common questions
Can you deliver one pallet?
Yes. A single pallet can be assessed for a dedicated movement. Send its loaded dimensions, total weight and the equipment available at both addresses.
Can you deliver a pallet without a forklift?
A suitable tail-lift vehicle may be arranged. We need to confirm the weight, pallet condition, access and ground surface before accepting that unloading plan.
Can I send an oversized pallet today?
Possibly, subject to the load, route and vehicle availability. Declare any overhang and send photographs so the team can assess the complete dimensions.
Does the pallet weight include packaging?
Yes. Give the total loaded weight including the pallet, crate, wrapping and goods. A supplier weight for the bare product may not describe the consignment being transported. Confirm the measurement with the sender so payload and handling can be assessed accurately.
Can a pallet be delivered to a home address?
The address and access need assessment. Describe parking, ground surface, unloading space and who can receive it. A residential postcode does not establish whether a tail lift or pallet truck can safely complete the agreed handover.
What if nobody can unload when the driver arrives?
Contact the team as soon as the receiving problem is known. Waiting, a different arrangement or a return may need to be agreed, and the price can change. Avoid dispatching against an assumed unloading plan; confirm the recipient and equipment first.
